CATSTANBUL
Artistic Direction by DiaEterna
24-26 January 2025
Jupiter, Divan Kuruçeşme
Commissioned by Huma Finance and Jupiter, DiaEterna was invited to lead the full artistic direction of this groundbreaking technology conference. Held in January at Istanbul’s stunning Divan Kuruçeşme with over 1,500 attendees, Catstanbul merged the energy of Web3 with contemporary art, performance, and large-scale public spectacle.
Inspired by Burning Man’s ethos, the event centered around a 5-meter-tall metal cat sculpture symbolizing Jupiter’s historic token burn. Designed by Bilal Yılmaz and produced by local artisans, the sculpture was dramatically ignited in a fire ceremony that featured site-specific lighting, flame choreography, and live performance.
Working with over 50 creative professionals across disciplines, DiaEterna curated a program that celebrated both local talent and collective creation. Highlights included:
